This video on Tenants Rights addresses the lease between land lord and tenant, rights not addressed in lease, and rights that the tenant cannot sign away in a lease, despite what a landlord may say. There are many issues covered affecting a lease or month to month rentals were renters have civil rights that are contained in federal, state, and local laws, including what is safe and habitable in environmental law.
