Born into a poor family, Charlie couldn’t even complete his primary school education. He started working at the age of 12 and ended up in over 30 different jobs and businesses that didn’t take off. He was working as a street peddler when he met Founders Platinum Directs Lim Kon Hon & Kam Thye. From such humble beginnings, Charlie & Linda have risen to the pinnacle of success, proving that AMWAY is indeed an opportunity that changes people’s lives.
They started their business in 1981. They went Direct (Platinum) in 1982, Ruby in 1983, Pearl in 1985, Emerald in 1987, Diamond in 1991, EDC in 1995, Double Diamond in 1996, Triple Diamond in 1998. Crown Ambassador in 2003. In 2006 they became Malaysia's First Founders Crown Ambassadors.
