Bukit Tabur/Bukit Hangus is a hill located in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The hill top view is beautiful. The hill is very prominent and could be seen from the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2. The hill is a quartz ridge, about 400 metres high.
Climbers enter the hiking trail via Klang Gates Village, about 50 metres from the gates of the Klang Gates Dam, at the back of Taman Melawati. The Climb may take 3-4 hours. The Gombak Forest Reserve and Klang Gates Dam are beside the hill.

Climbing up the hill, visitors can see 250 species of small coniferous-like trees, shrubs, creepers, orchids and moss, including five endemic species of plants. Contained within much of the limestone are beautiful (but commercially worthless) quartz crystals
