安利（中国）总裁黄德荫近日宣布，为了进一步提升安利（中国）的生产和研发能力，安利决定增加投入
6亿元，在广州经济技术开发区新建第二生产基地，并在江苏无锡建设安利（中国）植物研发中心。
安利大中华总裁颜志荣说，目前国际、国内经济形势不容乐观，而安利大手笔投入，主要还是基于公司发展的内在需求。安利（中国）作为安利全球第一大市场，过去5年持续快速增长。今后，安利（中国）还将通过持续提升事业机会竞争力、细分并培育消费市场全面进军电子商务等策略，促进公司持续稳健成长。为此，扩充产能是关键选项。新建生产基地将用于集中生产纽崔莱营养保健品。而此前国家发改委、工信部共同发布的《食品工业“十二五”发展规划》，首次将“营养与保健食品制造业”列入国家发展规划，同时，国家还将重点推动研发和生产优质蛋白食品、膳食纤维食品、新功能保健食品等。这些政策必将为保健食品产业发展注入了新的动力，也为安利的未来发展带来了难得的机遇。
